GOOGLE ANALYTICS
The Administrator uses Google Analytics services, Universal Analytics, provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). These services help the Administrator analyze traffic on the website. The data collected are processed in the context of these services in an anonymized manner (these are so-called usage data, which do not allow for the identification of the person) to generate statistics helpful in managing the website. This data is aggregate and anonymous, i.e., it does not contain identifying features (personal data) of the person visiting the website. When using these services, the Administrator collects data such as sources and mediums of acquiring visitors to the website, their behavior on the site, information about the devices and browsers used, IP addresses, domains, geographic data, demographic data (age, gender), and interests.
It is possible for individuals to block Google Analytics from sharing information about their activity on the website by installing the browser add-on provided by Google Inc., available here: Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.
GOOGLE ADWORDS
The Administrator uses Google Adwords services, provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). These services help the Administrator display products and services within the Google search engine and on websites that are part of the Google advertising network. A User entering specific keywords in the search engine may see an advertisement related to the entered keyword. Google AdWords analyzes the effectiveness of ads published on Google sites, which helps better match products or services to User expectations. After clicking on an AdWords banner ad on a computer, phone, or tablet, cookies related to AdWords are saved. Only statistical information for identifying the banner ad is collected.
FACEBOOK PIXEL
A fragment of Facebook Pixel code is placed on the apexone.pl website for analysis, optimization, and efficient operation of services. Facebook Pixel, provided by Facebook Inc. (1601 S. California Ave., Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA) or, for users residing in the EU, Facebook Ireland Ltd. (4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland), allows Facebook to identify individuals visiting our web content as a target group for displaying ads (called “Facebook Ads”). Consequently, we use the Facebook Pixel function to display our published ads on Facebook only to users of Facebook who have shown interest in our services or who have certain common factors (such as interest in certain topics or products based on visited websites), which we provide to Facebook (called custom audiences).
The Facebook Pixel function also helps us understand the effectiveness of ads on Facebook for statistical and market research purposes, showing whether users were redirected to our services after clicking on a Facebook ad (called conversion, which allows determining on which devices the user performs actions), creating so-called lookalike audiences or statistical twins (i.e., displaying ads to target groups similar to existing customers), and obtaining comprehensive statistics on website usage. During a user’s visit to our website, the Facebook Pixel function establishes a direct connection with Facebook servers. This way, Facebook is notified that the user visited our website, and Facebook assigns this information to the user’s personal Facebook account.
Facebook is certified under the Privacy Shield Framework and thus guarantees compliance with European data protection regulations. Further information about data collection and use by Facebook and user privacy rights and options can be found in Facebook’s privacy policy at Facebook Privacy Policy. Specific information and details about the Facebook Pixel function and how it works are available in the Facebook help section at Facebook Business Help. This function can be disabled as shown on the page Facebook Ad Settings or Facebook Settings. To do this, you must log in to Facebook.
